An Ongoing Painting

An Ongoing Painting is now available in the Microsoft Store for any device running Windows 10. The app is created by Kristian Sandven in cooperation with artist PhilG and John Crozier (@MediaKreature). Digitization of this large painting was done by John using custom built rig. Post processing of all the raw data was done by Kristian Sandven.

'An Ongoing Painting' is a project by artist PhilG where he is creating an infinite painting. He started the project a couple of years ago. It is a huge piece reaching over 18m (60ft) made up of equal sized canvases connected by Phil's surrealist theme. It became apparent that at this length it would be difficult to find an exhibition space big enough to house it. Even Phil has not seen them all together... So, how could he show this incredible piece of art? This app, exists so that you can view this amazing piece on the device of your choice. As this is an ongoing project more will be added as Phil completes another canvas. The trial version of this app includes the four first canvases in this huge piece.
